ATTRÅ is a book about the artistic practice of Lars Korff Lofthus, focusing on painting, sculpture and prints from the last half decade. This artist monograph offers an intimate immersion in a painterly world where nature, queer desire and folk art meet and create new scenarios.
In addition to texts written by Merete Jonvik, Bjørn Hatterud and Lars Korff Lofthus, the book offers an extensive photographic material, presenting Lofthus' comprehensive painting production and photos from the artist's studio and surroundings in Hardanger. The book also offers the reader an insight into the processes behind the work, through clippings, background material and sketches taken from the artist's archive.
ATTRÅ is published by Entrée, and designed by designer Øystein Arbo. Bent René Synnevåg is the photographer, and Cecilie A. Størkson has been the editor for the book.
